I'm considering applying to work on cruise ships and was just wondering what its like? What job did you do when you worked there and did you enjoy it?...
The "Boardwalk" rooms are very nice and for only $200 more thats a steal. It is nice to be able to watch the parade go down the Boardwalk from your room. I personally didn't notice a difference in the amount of noise when staying in an inside room or a Promenade room (what they are called on the other ships). So, my recommendation is to book the Boardwalk room. The Oasis will definitely be amazing I am sure. The Liberty, Freedom and Independence are awesome, so it is kind of mind boggling to think there is bigger and better coming out. Have a fabulous time. I cruise quite a bit and I honestly love when I book the balcony staterooms as well, but I don't do it too often because I am not in my room enough to really enjoy it. I like to be out and about on the ship taking advantage of all the ship has to offer.
Time travler
I would always choice a balcony over a inside room. I like to be able to see out to sea. I would never be happy looking at a bunch of people milling around. By the way, How cool it is that you are planning on going on the Oasis of the seas. That looks like one beautiful ship.
TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
Personally when I book it will be an ocean view balcony room. I never book inside rooms and if I have a balcony I want to see the ocean and not a whole bunch of people milling around. I would prefer to watch the ocean and I don't think I would want the noise overlooking the boardwalk.
roxie w
i'd do the balcony room
Then you can sit on your balcony and look down at all the little cruise ships lol
my dad will be the hotel director on there
so be sure to say hi for me
