What will i do in ensenada? |

For a family with a 3 year old there is not much to do but walk around and shop. Most of the excursions are geared towards adults or require a lenghty bus tour to get there. If you really want to see Ensenada, then take a stroll. But it's quite a poverish town with young kids pan handling or selling chiclets. There is a lot of drinking establisments and restaurants, but you have paid for all your meals on board, so it's kind of foolish to spend the extra money.
Carnival has a great kids program, which your 3 year old can participate in all day long. Parents are always welcomed, but not necessary and your tot doesn't have to be potty trained. Parents with children 3 and under are given a beeper so that Camp Counselors can find you at anytime. Strollers are available to rent for a minimal fee. There is also babysitting provided from 10 p.m - 3 a.m. for $6.00 per hour.
As for the stroller, Carnival doesn't have a restriction on luggage, as long as it fits in your stateroom. But you can always call the 800 number for extra reassurance.
On board you will have a great time. Be sure to take a few minutes and go online and fill out your FUN PASS. This will make your boarding go faster.
Every morning you will receive a newsletter. Be sure to check out all the great activities the ship has to offer for that day. Don't miss out on the Towel Creations class, it's really fun!
Overall, have a great time! We will be going again for the 4 night in two weeks! Love it!

Stay on the ship. Ensenada is a horrible little town, beggars everywhere. The town is dirty. We were sorry we even got off the ship. |

the only nice place that we went to was the blow hole and there 45 min drive to the destination and it can get very hot on the bus. i would just stay in the down town area if you must get off and explore. i know there is a shopping excursion.. consider taking something simular to that because the town is really dirty and some places you actaully have to pay to use the bathroom and the people harras you all the time |

If you can rig the stroller to the back, I would recomend ATV's. Thats what we did, without the stroller though. Other than that, there's plenty of shopping. |

Why would you want to go to Ensenada, it is really not a tourist destination, you won't like it. What they do with their sewerage can make you gag. |
