What would be the best cruise for us? |
Me and my family would like to take a cruise to the Caribbean for at least 5 days. There will be 2 adults in their mid 30's and 2 16-year-old daughters. I was mainly looking for the best cruise for the teens though.. maybe with a spa and pool... and other fun features..I also want to find the least expensive cruise, but the more fun cruise for them. What would be the best ship to take them on?and why? |

The best cruise line to go on with kids and teens is Royal Caribbean. It has the most on-board activities and the other cruise lines cannot compare. Royal Caribbean is also a cruise line that caters to young cruiser and families. It has things like ice skating, roller blading, mini-golf course, a full sized basketball/tennis court, the rock climbing wall, and on the new Freedom Class ships the surfing simulator, the Flowrider.
It has an area on its ships called Adventure Ocean which has free programs for kids of all ages between 3 and 17. It has a special teen disco area that is open until 2:00 AM each evening. The RC ships that you should look for cruises on are the RC's Freedom Class and Voyager Class ships. You can look at the features of these ships on these two web links:

I have cruised on both of these classes of ships and you will not be disappointed. In addition, these ships operate from ports where there is lots of competition for passengers and so there are frequently very good prices and specials. |

What do your teens like to do?
If you want a cheaper cruise like you were mentioning I'd go with Carnival they are the least expensive around.
If your teens like waterslides.. I'd go on either the Carnival Inspiration, Fantasy, Sensation or Imagination. They have the new waterpark on it.

The fantasy class is an older class and not as big as the newer ships.. but I like it.. not too crowded, recently upgraded, etc. |

The cabbo, carnival, jamica, etc. All cruises have spas and pools. Stay away from the Disney Cruise!! |

Royal Caribbean, 7 day eastern caribbean cruise, starts in miami, goes to puerto rico, st. thomas, st.marteen, and bahamas. It's fun, the ship was great, food was really good, they have a spa, plenty of pools, lots of entertainment, even have a teen club, comedy shows, musicals, bingo, ice skating rink too ! It's a little more pricier than carnival cruise lines but worth the extra money ! |

Carnival is the best cruise line for fun and entertainment. There are alot of shows and programs for teens. They have great food and people. |
