It's on the small side- and dark- no windows at all, but really all you do is sleep in there- you aren't in there long. It;s big enough not to feel too closed in, but remember you are mainly sleeping in there only. A good way to save some money on a cruise. :)

the size is no smaller, and the configuration is no different than a cabin with a window. They are very dark though. I found I had to sleep with the bathroom light on and the door cracked open because it was too dark (believe it or not). I also found that when I woke up I had no clue what time it was (2AM, 5AM, 8AM), and there is no clock! At least with a window, you know if its morning or not.

If you want a bigger room you would have to upgrade. But then again, about all you do in the room is sleep, the rest of the time you will find yourself somewhere else on the ship.

The cabin size is generally the same as an outside cabin, although it might look a bit smaller with no window. I like inside cabins because of the darkness. I feel like my sleep is more restful in total blackness. Also, I know a lot of people who pick inside cabins because the rocking motion of the ship is less noticeable. Especially if you are midship in one of the middle decks.

Small and compact. No windows. But even if you have an outside cabin with a porthole it is not much bigger. You will definetly have a great time and save money by getting an inside cabin. when you book your room you want to stay away from the engine as it can be loud. somewhere in the middle is best. Everytime i've had inside cabins i've never had bunk beds. there is a tv, shower/toliet area. enough room for your clothes and stuff to hang. and you can put your suitcase under the beds (usually).

have a great time! make sure you bring extra money for the bar bill. it adds up quick.

on my 1st cruise to mexico [Carnival Cruises], i had an inside cabin and it was nice. i traveled carnival. of course it was not the best room on the ship, but it served it's purpose fo rme [which was to sleep]. i spent very little time in my room, so i wanted to use my funds to splurge on ship activities and all of the wonderful excursions. i did oversleep after an excursion one day and missed the at sea party, but really it was b/c i was tired from snorkeling and kayaking all day. so, maybe you can call the customer service department to get the skinny for their ship. remember to bring your own clock and some batteries i say.

well It depends on what size room you get ocean view or a room with a balcony, I went on the carnival paradise and it was ok the furniture was a little old fashion but it was nice i would wear house shoes though the rugs looked worn out, over all the trip was very nice. oh not to mention not very many television stations if you want to just lounge in the room mostly weather channels.

I have been on over 20 cruises & always request an inside cabin. For 2 Adults there is plenty of room. Most have a refrigerator, either a queen bed or 2 single beds, a good size closet that holds your suit cases & clothes, a desk with coffee maker, TV. a chair or love seat & clock Radio. Also like any hotel you can have a wake up call. Bathrooms always big enough with a nice shower, vanity. I do not select it for the savings just no need for anything else.

Go into your closet tonight at 3 Am and put a blindfold on. Now try laying down. That's about what it is in an inside cabin. I know people say you are only there to sleep and shower, but we spent more time in our cabin then we thought we would. Between bathroom breaks, showering, naps, and sleeping, you spend about 8-10 hours a day in there. Think about it.... I would spend the extra money and get one with a window. That way you'll know if it's dark or light out... It's a vacation, splurge! You will still get a good deal on a room...

Almost identical to every other cabin, except no window.
When I cruise I enjoy sleeping with the balcony door open, both at night and mid afternoon nap. But other than that, there is no difference

Don't listen to the whole small thing, u hav several different varieties of staterooms to stay in. Trust me u can get a larger room on a smaller bugdet ive cruised over 15 times.

Most of the time we go, we book an inside cabin. On most cruise lines they are the same size as the outside cabins. We usually leave the bathroom door open if we need to get up at nite. We take the attitude that we are only going to sleep in our cabin, so it doesn't matter. we are on deck, excursion, eating, at shows or other events.

ineedadrink
the layout and bed type will depend on the cruise, but really if you are not planning on spending much time in the room they aren't bad at all, they are completely dark when you turn out the lights so you will sleep like a rock!

Pretty much like a really small hotel room with no windows. If you've ever owned an RV you can probably imagine that kind of space, just having no windows. There's pretty much a bed (sometimes up to 3-4, usually bunks), a very small bathroom, a TV, small closet area and dresser/nightstand area that can store some belongings.

I've only ever traveled in inside cabins. The ones on Carnival were incredibly small and felt cramped. Disney's were much more comfortable, but then I think all their staterooms are supposed to be 50% larger than industry standard.

Small. Cramped. Dark. Little storage. But the whole idea is you will spending most your time on the deck somewhere and be in your cabin to sleep and shower only. So why should it matter?

luludoodie
Small and dark. Not recommended unless you are really hard up!
