Celebrity Cruises has ordered four new ships, the Solstice, the Equinox, the Eclipse, and a fourth, still to be named ship. These are to become Celebrity's largest vessels at 117,000 grt, holding 2,850 people each, and measuring 1,033 feet in length, and 121 feet across. They will be delivered in Fall 2008, Summer 2009, Summer 2010, and Fall 2011.

Right now the Millennium class ships (Constellation, Infinity, Millennium, and Summit) are the largest at 91,000 gross tons.
But in 2008, 2009 and 2010 respectively Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Equinox and Celebrity Eclipse will become the largest at 118,000 tons each and carrying up to 2,500 passengers. They will be bigger than even largest ships in Carnival's fleet. All are about 30 percent larger than the line's Millennium-class ships. |

Two ships match that criterion. The Celebrity Millennium and the Celebrity Summit both have displacements of 91,000 tons, lengths of 965 ft, and beams of 105 ft. |

Agrees with above posters. The Mllenium was built in 2000, the Summit in 2000 and the Constellation in 2002. They are each 964 ft. in length. |
