Whats the best cruise line for 22 year olds? |
Looking to go on a cruise with a bunch of friends we're all over 21, and want a cruise line with good nightlife/clubs, and entertainment. None of us have ever been on a cruise and don't know what included in the price and what isn't. Any help would be awesome. Thanks. |

Carnival sounds like the cruise line for you. Younger age group and plenty of nightlife and entertainment.
The ticket price includes room, board and entertainment. Extras on board are tips, (usually added to your account daily, approx $10 per day) anything that you buy on board, drinks, excursions, and speciality restaurants. |

I have been on both carnival and royal caribbean and I would definetely recommend either one for a young crowd, (i am 24). (I would stay away from Norwegian, although I had a great time, there was a much older crowd, and although I enjoyed the speciality restaurants, they have a cover charge so it will end up costing more)
The cruise will included your stay on the ship, most of the food (things like johnny rockets are not included) and iced tea or lemonade, but no soda or alcohol. You can purchase a soda card in advance to use throughout the week, and there are some wine packages, but nothing that includes all alcohol. (but you can put some mini bottles of liqour in your luggage)
I would also recommend cruising to the caribbean or mexican riviera (well not mexico right now!) they tend to attract younger cruisers as well and have great ports that you will also be able to enjoy.
what state do you live in? is anyone in your group in the military, fire department, or law enforcement? (these can help offer special discounts)
The only age requirement on carnival of 25 is if someone in your cabin is under 21, but you said your group is 21+ so you will be fine!
Both cruise lines are offering great specials right now, some cash back cruises, etc..

I heard that Princess Cruise line is more for the older folks and Carnival is supposed to be the one with more parties. I also heard that most Royal Caribbean ships have more things to do and has something for every one. But that is just what i heard.
Most foods are included in the price, along with coffee, lemonade, water and depending on the cruise line, maybe some other things. I think there is a base tip in there as well. Dining at specialty restaurants usually arent, alcoholic beverages and I think sodas arent, any activities that you do on shore, while docked at the other locations, stuff you buy while at the ports, eating at the ports, any transportation costs to get to the departure location of your cruise.
dont worry about the age thing that the first answerer talked about. It doesnt apply to you guys at all because you are all over 21 |

I'm 26 and I've never been on a cruise but I'm heading to the Caribbean on a Carnival cruise in a few weeks, I'm so excited. I choose Carnival because it was the least expensive and they have a reputation for being fun with lots of things to do. My cruise was $399 for 7 days but after including all the taxes and fees plus insurance it was somewhere around $525.
Most cruises include everything aside from gambling and drinking, I'm bringing some money for shopping, taxis/transportation, gratuity, souvenirs, bottles of water and soda, shore excursions, and of course drinking and gambling. I plan on bringing $500-$700
And of course I had to pay a couple hundred dollars for the round trip flight to Florida.... around $250 for my direct flight.
My grand Total is going to be at least $1300 when all is said and done. |

I would recommend Princess Cruise
I was on a Princess Cruise one year ago. There were lots of teenagers just like me. I went to the teen club about 3 times because there were so many other things I wanted to do. At the teen place they have different games (air hockey, football, and a bunch of other stuff), music (new stuff, don't worry). Everything on Princess is kind of free, they don't force you to do anything. There are more pools then you want to count, putting course, golf simulator, entertainment (broad way, comedians, musicians, magicians....), parties every night...
You will enjoy yourself unless you go with the ultimate purpose of being bored lol
Hope you have a great time.
If you have any further question, you can post it on uCruiser forum http://www.ucruiser.com/ I'm willing to help :)

Go on a party cruise, at your age they're a ton of fun. |

none. unless there is a 25 yr old in the cabin, you will not be allowed to travel unless you are married.
cruise lines stick to the us age for doing things. 21 to drink, and 18 to gamble.
NOT included: tips and gratuity of 10$ per day per person. supper club, bingo at 10$ per card, sodas, alcoholic beverages, spinning class, bottled water, photos, souvioners
INCLUDED: all the food you can eat except at specility coffee shops, all other entertainment. |
