Go on the Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. I have not sailed on it but I have sailed on two of its twin sister ships which are identical. The ship is fabulous and you will enjoy it. There are currently only two cruise lines departing from Texas.
They both depart from the Port of Galveston.
Carnival offers a 4 and 5 day itinerary on the Ecstasy and a 7 day itinerary on the Conquest.
Royal Caribbean offers a limited schedule for a 7 day itinerary on the Voyager of the Seas.
We like the Conquest. They have recently introduced an Eastern Caribbean itinerary along with a Western Caribbean itinerary. |

I like the Conquest too, but in Royal Caribbean's defense, I have never sailed with them. I also heard from a friend that the Conquest is getting run down and close to retirement, but I hope that is not the case, as I am sailing on it in May! |

Cruise lines come and go with ports, but right now Galveston only has Royal Caribbean and Carnival departing from it.
I hear they are both very nice. So either choice would be a wise choice.
I hope Kat is wrong about the Conquest, because I am cruising on this ship the very beginning of June! ): (First Carnival cruise, I hope they don't disappoint!) |
