Biggest is not best. Royal Caribbeans Freedom of the seas is the biggest. Best cruise line in our opinion is 1. Princess cruise lines. 2. Holland America. That the common man can afford. Luxury is Seaborne, Regent and some those cruise lines are really nice if you want to spend the extra money.

The biggest usually isn't the best in the cruise industry. The best are usually small very expensive cruise ships.
The biggest changes all the time. Everyone always trying to outdo the others.
2003 Queen Mary 2 - Cunard (151,410 tons)
2006 Freedom of the Seas - Royal Caribbean (154,000 tons)
2009 Genesis - Royal Caribbean (scheduled to launch at 220,000 tons)
Edit:
The Celebrity Solstice is at 122,000 tons and the largest cruise ship to come out of Germany - but not the largest in the world. It's set to launch in Oct 2008. |

Kristina is correct, but the best would have to be from crystal cruise lines or perhaps cunard. neither of these cruise lines have the biggest, but the service, food and everything about the ships are top notch. They happen to be the most expensive too. |
