When cruising is breakfast served in the dinning rooms?

Soon I wil be going on my first cruise. The carnival valor. I have been reading some reviews and everyone always mentions having breakfast and lunch in different places and then dinner in the dinning room, no one ever mentions having breakfast or lunch in the dinning room. So im just wondering if breakfast and lunch is also served in the dinning room.

First of all you will have a great time on your cruise ive been on tons of them. Yes breakfast is served in the dining room. Anywhere else it is a buffet, but in the dining room it is not exactly fancy but just a bit nicer. Still can be a nice not rushed but not long breakfast with more foods like Lox an Bagels.
Have a great time im sure you will !!!

Yes, breakfast and lunch is served in the dining room.

The main difference is for breakfast and lunch, it is open seating so you can be seated with other people for this meal. It is a great way to meet new people.

Plus, you get to order off a menu.

On the breakfast buffet, they generally serve the same thing every day. Scrambled eggs are OK but once in a while, I want something different.

Soleil
Yes..when you booked your cruise...they would have assigned you seating time in the dining room... you need to be there at that exact time to have breakfast,.. lunch,...dinner.

Personally... I prefer the buffet on the upper deck ....you can have everything .... LOL. We only eat dinner at the dining room. Have an awesome time....leaving for my cruise in two weeks. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BusyMom
Yes, you can have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner in the main dining room. You can also have these three meals at the buffet. The buffet is more casual if you prefer not getting dressed up for the formal dinners.

In the main dining room, there are usually set times for the meals (i.e. Dinner seating at 6:00 & 8:00 p.m. Nothing in between). However, there are some cruiselines that have "freestyle" meals, where you can have your meals within specified hours. (Seating anytime between 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.)

Enjoy your cruise!

Yes, there are different dinning rooms and Bfst is served in some, others are just reserved for dinner

Enrique B
Yes, breakfast and lunch are served in the main dining rooms (some ships have more than 1) as well as in other restaurants. There are some restaurants reserved for dinner, but you will find food available pretty much any time at the buffet restaurant, at least.

Enjoy your cruise!

Yes all meals can be eaten in the dining room on Carnival although sometimes its easier to eat on the deck or the buffets. Especially when by the pool so you don't have to go change or lose your chair by the pool on at sea days.
