NO, No, no,The drinking age on all cruise ships is age 21 or older and it does not matter whether you are in international waters or in a cruise port in the Bahamas or the Caribbean.
However, you CAN get drinks in bars and cafes, etc while in ports in the Caribbean and Bahamas because the drinking age in all of those countries is age 18 (except for the US Virgin Islands which is considered a US territory. But you can drink at age 18 in Puerto Rico. |

Drinking age is 21. They "card" you by using your Sail & Sign card [used for all purchases on board] - it is coded to denote whether you are over 21 or not. This doesn't mean that your parents can't buy you a drink or glass of wine and give it to you. |

Minimum drinking age on ships departing from the U.S. is 21+. If you choose to get off the ship while its docked at the port, you would go by the drinking age of that specific country, which is usually 18+.
If your ship's originating departure is at another country (i.e. in Europe or South America) and you're between 18-20, your parents can sign a waiver that will allow you to consume alcoholic beverages on the ship. |
