Ventura sails from Southampton also on 23rd October 2009.

Most cruise lines have a sailing from Europe to the West Indies in the Autumn and back again in the spring. They are geared up more for cruise passengers who want to travel in luxury. A cheaper way is to get a berth as a passenger on a freight ship. These are usually huge container carrying vessels with very comfortable accommodation but no entertainment. If you want really cheap, there are still some shipping lines that will take you free if you don't mind being a cleaner or cabin steward. |
