Vacations to go have probably some of the best prices around. But here is a tip. Book the cruise with whom ever you decide, but right down the price you pay and keep track of it. As the cruise gets closer, recheck on the price with the same travel agent as well as others. If you then see it listed for cheaper, write down that price and then contact the travel agent you booked with. Tell them of your findings and most likely the cruise company will then give you the difference of the lower price. This works even if you pay in full for your cruise. |

Check back each week with Carnival Cruise Lines carnival.com.
Do your research on the cruise lines web site, but also find a travel agent and keep in touch with him/her. Often, you will get a better rate with a travel agent....and be sure to insure your trip!!!!!
After logging on carnival.com, I was on their e-mail list and got e-mails several times a month. I did lots of research, kept a spread sheet of dates, ship names, ports of call, room types/number, and prices...I locked in when I found one I thought was reasonable.
Last year I booked a cruise 6 weeks in advance and got an oceanview room at an affordable rate. Now, as a returning cruiser, and getting on a 72 hour early bird special, I got a better rate and a better/bigger room for $100 less than last year.
Cruising can be cheaper than a 5 day road trip if you consider the cost of gas, lodging, and food. On a cruise, you get a really nice room, stellar service, 5-star dining, all you can eat food, and partake in entertainment, the spa, gym, and other on-board activities...all included in your cruisefare.
Happy sailing! |
