Where to stay in San Diego (close to cruise ship port)? |
My fiance and I will be leaving for our honeymoon from San Diego on a 7 night cruise on 3/23/08. We would like to visit on 3/22/08 and stay at a hotel close to the cruise ship port. Any suggestions? We are also looking to see if any of the hotels provide parking for the week we are gone or a shuttle. Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is a Holiday Inn ACROSS THE STREET from the cruise ship terminal in San Diego....and I do mean literally across the street. You wake up the morning you go on your cruise and look out you window to see a huge cruise ship sitting there about 100 feet away!!
Is it the carnival Spirit you are going on? Great ship. |

Tons of great hotels in San Diego but parking is the WORST!
Most Higher End hotels charge for parking on top of the nightly rate... close to 30 bucks a night...to park your car~!?
30x7=210 bucks to park your car... you are best off parking at the port... |
