I've been to both and I'd say Belize.
But that's because I like jungle-type excursions, and Belize is good for that. You should book a shore excursion in advance, though, as this isn't stuff you can take a cab to.
Grand Cayman would be better for shopping. |

Been to George Town, Grand Cayman and it is a sweet little town and island, they only tender their due to sand they can not build a pier. the shopping is good ans the tour of the island was great even when to the only post office in the town of Hell (no pun that is the real name) and they do jump on the pun it is funny. The turtle farm is nice too, but the best is Stingray City.
Tried Belize last Sept but it got changed due to hurricanes, we are trying again this year in Dec this time, but the main thing for us is we have friends that live near Belize City, so they will show us around, looking forward to the zoo as it has black panthers and other wild cats. there is a lot in Belize as it is big city compared to most Caribbean ports
and the cruise I have book now on the Carnival Legend goes to both |
