Which Cruise Line is the best?

I am 16 and am going to go on a cruise this summer with my friend who is also 16. We are both going with our moms who are friends too. We cannot decide which cruise to take. I really want to take a disney cruise or royale carribean. Which one is better?

you could also look at Carnival, its O2 club for teens is very good and has it's own club, there is also an arcade.

out of the two you said Disney because the lines for the activities on RC have the reputation for being very long

Tell the moms to on the Royal Caribbean cruise because RC has more programs that teens will enjoy. I think that you and your friend at age 16 are a bit too old to want to run around with Disney characters. Royal Caribbean has a program for kids up to age 17 called Adventure Ocean and they have a teen disco on most ships called Fuel where teens can hang out, dance and have pizza parties, and stuff. Royal Caribbean ships also have a some really nice activities on their ships like an in-line roller blading track, an ice skating rink, a rock climbing wall, a mini-golf course, and on the new RC ships Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas they have the Flowrider which allows you to surf on a boogie board right on the back of the ship. They also have full sized basketball/tennis courts, ping pong tables, a video game arcade, and multiple pools and hot tubs you can use.

If you do a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Caribbean you will likely have a stop at RC's private island which is called Labadee, Haite and it is by far the best private island I have ever been on in my almost 20 cruises. It has multiple beaches with all types of water activities like Jet Ski, para-sailing, and an ocean water park that has inflatable islands that you can dive off of. It also has a tour that you can pay for to do a zip line (a cable suspended above the ocean) across the bay on one of the beaches.

Tell the moms to book a cruise to the Eastern or Western Caribbean on the Freedom or Liberty and you will have the time of your life. I have been on the Freedom and its a fabulous ship.

I actually preferred Carnival. Disney is geared toward younger kids, and Carnival has more going on than RC does.

disneys, lots of friends of mine were on both of them. everybody says disneys is better

I have been on 8 cruises. Royal Carribean is THE bestm hands down. Trust me. I have tried a total of 4 different companies, and none were as nice as RC. You will feel like royalty. The food is better, the boat is nicer, the excursions are more fun. The disco is a blast, you'll love all of the different things to do, etc. Make sure to lay by the pool near the Calypso band. have a Pina Colada (virgin for you I guess), adn remember to think: "ahhhhh, here I am. Blue waters, the sun, the music, a tasty drink in my hand". And here are 2 important tips that you will appreciate: 1. Make sure you get the late dining schedule, not the early. If you get the early time, you end up having to leave the island and all of the fun, so you can get back to the ship to get ready. Choose the 8pm, and you will be glad that I informed you of this. 2. Book your excursions immediately once you get on the ship. on't wait. The best ones fill up, and you will be out of luck. Oh, also, let them take your picture as much as possible, when they set up the photo areas outside the dining room (they do it each night). Then, you will have more pictures to choose from, and purchase.

I hope you have a blast! If you go on Royal Caribbean, I have no doubt that you will.
