Royal Carribbean. They've got a lot of really cool activities like rockclimbing, rollerblading, arcade stuff, dance parties (including a formal!), and DJ lessons. You may even have your own no-adults club!!! I've even heard of drinks being served that look like cocktails but arent' alcoholic. (I'm in my late 20s, so it's only hearsay for me :D )

Carnival is really fun too, but can be looked is commonly called the "booze cruise" because of the many partiers who frequent the cruiseline. Their shows are okay and they have a club for teens, but I personally witnessed lots of very bored teens aged 12-17 wandering aimlessly because there's just not enough to do. Plus, their excursions aren't really aimed too well at including you guys...

Good luck and have fun!!!

We have taken both the RC and Carnival (twice) with our daughters.

They love Carnival. The 24-hour pizzeria is a huge hit with my older daughter while the younger one loves having access to ice cream 24/7. They enjoyed the teen dance club and arcade.

They found the RC to be too stuff for them. RC is a bit more upscale.

Recommendation for cruising with teens...get a set of the 2-way radios to use while you are on board. You can find them at Wal-Mart, Target, Radio Shack, etc.

You can give the teens the freedom to enjoy the ship while still having piece of mind and the ability to check in.

They are both really good, with plenty of things for teens to do. Check out the individual ships to see if they have the rock climbing, or wave pool, whatever extra you might want.

Royal Caribbean because Carnival is mostly with a lot of adults and older people. they don't have as much things to do for teens on carnival and I've heard horrible stories about how bad their stay was on the Carnival ship.
