 Carnival Cruise Line?
My husband and I are going to take our first cruise this summer. We are thinking of cruising on the Carnival Cruise Line. 7 day Western Caribbean from Tampa, FL. We are also trying to get pregnant....

Cedwick C

Which carnival cruise would you rather take?

from L.A. or Miami? Or is a cruise a cruise? I have never been. Any experienced travellers? Or any other place you suggest?

SO would you prefer to travel to L.A or Florida?

I would say whatever one is closest, or least expensive to get to. But if the cost of getting there is about the same, I would say Florida. From Florida, you have the whole caribbean you can take a cruise to, not just Mexico and the central american countries. With that said, the best part of a cruise (in my opinion) is the getting there part, not just where you are going, so if you go from L.A. or Florida, I think you will have a great time. Especially if you have never been on a cruise, or have never been to any of the ports of call.

Well you will get more bang for your buck with the miami cruise. Ive done 2 from miami before. You sail into the caribbean and are in a different county every day ! With LA, there is only mexico to see, which is fine, but when i went from miami, within a week i visited honduras, belize, mexico, and cayman islands ! It was a great adventure and very diverse !

Your L.A. cruise will go to different places then your Florida cruise. So look at the ports of call and choose depending on which stops are more appealing to you.

me and my husband took one out of LA cuz it's closer to where we live and we did the 7 day mexico cruise it was very nice. We took Carnival Pride It was a beautiful boat food was delicious people were really nice and all ages and all the stops were great I can't wait to plan my next cruise!!!!

Totally depends where YOU want to go. You will get different attractions in Florida and different in L.A. Florida will be my choice because I have been there and I totally enjoy the atmosphere of the play. It's like a pure holiday and nothing can beat a carnival cruise to Florida.
