I've been on 8 cruises with Princess and for me they are Grand. Everything is top notch from the food to the service. Now of course I have also heard great things about Royal Caribbean and Celebrity and I'm sure they are just as grand. I would not say Carnival is of the grand class though, but is great for families on a budget.

By the likes of it, I'd say royal caribbean:

For my money it's got to be Cunard! The Queen Elizabeth 2 is retiring this November and moving to Dubai to become a floating hotel, but the Queen Mary 2 and the Victoria are quite new, very elegant, and built and decorated in the style of the elegant ocean liners. You might want to check their web page -- cunard.com.

Camille
This is how I would rank the cruise lines.
1. Royal Caribbean
2. Princess
3. Celebrity
4. Carnival (good for the price though)
