Which cruise ship is best for me?
I plan on going on a cruise in mid may for about 7 days. I hate flying so im gonna be goin with Norwegian eventhough i heard some bad. Im 18 and i want to know what ship is best (im leanign towards dawn) and if its horrible let me know and hopefully which ship is better and if this is the worst ship possible is royal caribbean really that much better. I dont care about rooms and that stuff mostly late night activities are a must Additional Details only norwegian and royal caribbean are options
Carnival cruise line is would be a better choice. From my personal experiences the night entertainment you would love.
I don't fly myself I take a cruise every year some times twice
and i take amtrak maybe you should try that.

Out of the two the Royal Caribbean would be best but NCL is a nice cruise line. Some people dont like it but I would go with the newest ship or the Dawn is pretty new and its not like the older ships which usually have some problems. The freestyle cruising is the main reason people like it and I would probably suggest a Royal Caribbean for the same price as late night activities will more then likely be better and the things to do on the ship will be better as well more hten likely. Go to both websites and look at the rates and compare the stuff to do on the ships by giving yourself a virtual tour and decide which one you like best.

We went Norwegian and loved it. If you are younger and more active you may want to look into a Catamarine..you help sail it. It is a blast for someone who likes to be involved.

Also depends on what ship it is. The NCL are more like come as you are and do what you like whenever you like it than the slightly more traditional RCCL. The Voygar and freedom classes of the RCCL are of course something extra... But you have to read about the itinarys and the ship and make your own call. Try to get both companys brochyres before you decide. Johan

Without a doubt the best for you is Royal Caribbean. Lots of activities, some ships have wall climbing, skating rink, basketball court, mini putt, etc.

Royal Caribbean is the best hands down. Activities galore. The Dawn is a newer ship built in 2002 but I still recommend RCCL. Saying this I think you will have a good time on either ship. One plus for you might be "anytime dining" on NCL.
You will be fine on either ship.

As a travel agent, I steer my clients away from NCL due to the many problems they've had. If my clients save all year for a cruise, I certainly don't want book them on a line where they may end up not enjoying themselves. If NCL and RCCL are your only 2 options then I'd definitely recommend RCCL - nice ship accommodations, good service and food, lots of things to see and do on board.
