Which is the Best? |
I plan on going on a cruise around the middle of June. I've looked at some crusie lines and they all seem great, but they're so expensive. Which cruise line should I choose that has a reasonable price for a Family Suite and great spots to go to? |

Cruise ships have cabins that can accommodate up to 4 people; over 4 people, can only be accommodated in a Family Suite. But, family suites are very expensive and very limited (many ships do not even have them!).
For pricing, it will be less expensive, if you have more than 4 people in your family, to try to find adjoining or adjacent cabins. The least expensive will be interior cabins, on a low deck.
In June, most ships are no longer sailing the Caribbean. Royal Caribbean and Carnival will have short 4 and 5 night sailings from Florida to the Bahamas -- these will be about the least expensive cruises.
Have you chosen the region (Alaska, Mexico, Europe, Caribbean, Bermuda) where you would like to cruise? |

I like Royal, To really get the best price, ask a respected agency, The prices on there site are just a guideline, ask for a quote. LOL dont use a YTB travel network, there not real agents. I suggest the site below: |

I am not sure how many are in your family. If four, then most suites (not all) will sleep four. If there are five in your family, then the only ships that will sleep five in a cabin are the older ships with a roll-a-way bed, some Disney cabins sleep five and Royal Caribbean's family cabins sleep six or more. If more than five, then the only line I can think of that will sleep six or more in one cabin is Royal Caribbean. Its family cabins sleep six. The Royal Family Suite sleeps eight, and available on the Freedom class only, the Presidential Suite sleeps fourteen.
There is the Garden Villas on the Norwegian ships. The Garden Villas sleep six, but they are very expensive.
However, you do have another option. You can get joining cabins. These are normal cabins (normal cabins sleep two to four) but also have a door between the cabins that is inside the cabin. So you will have two cabins together, and you can walk between the two cabins without going outside. |

Hi Emily,
In order for me to really help with this question, I need to know what budget you are working with, and where is it that you really want to travel? Bahamas, the Caribbean, Alaska, etc. My co-worker works is also a part time Cruise Consultant, so if I have the exact details I can talk to him and get back to you. Is that fair? Hope to hear from you soon.

Ok, the disney cruise is great. Since you only use the stateroom to sleep in, you dont need that bit of a room. In one regular room you can fit 4 people (two on the bed, one on the couch that converts into a bed, and one in the top bunk). I went with my grandma, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, and little sister (12), I'm 15. And we all had a blast. There was something for all of us to do. We went on the 7 night western caribbean, and it was amazing. We go on lots of cruises, and by far, this one had the best service, food, and basically everything else was better than other cruise lines. |
