Which is the best Family Cruise? |
Hi my family is looking for a good caribbean cruise, and i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. We have been on the Freedom of the Seas Royal Caribbean and found it absolutely fantastic. We have a nine year old son, a fifteen year old daughter and of course me and my husband. Any suggestions?? Thanks |

I would recommend Princess Cruise
I was on a Princess Cruise one year ago. There were lots of teenagers just like me. I went to the teen club about 3 times because there were so many other things I wanted to do. At the teen place they have different games (air hockey, football, and a bunch of other stuff), music (new stuff, don't worry). Everything on Princess is kind of free, they don't force you to do anything. There are more pools then you want to count, putting course, golf simulator, entertainment (broad way, comedians, musicians, magicians....), parties every night...
You will enjoy yourself unless you go with the ultimate purpose of being bored lol

I'd definitely recommend Carnival. They have some great stuff for kids, and as a teen, I must say, the teen clubs are so fun! The newer ships are much better. Also, Royal Caribbean has the Nickelodean ships setting sail in the summer. I've been on the Mariner of the Seas, which is one of the new Nick ones. It was the best SHIP I've been on, but the waiters and staff didn't have much personality. The Carnival food is better, but they don't have Johnny Rocket's and Ben and Jerry's on their ships. The staff on Carnival cruises really make it worth the money, they're so kind and it's so hard to say bye to them when you leave! So overall, I'd recommend Carnival. Go for a Conquest class ship, they're the best. I've been on the Carnival Fantasy, Conquest, and Freedom. Conquest and Freedom are the same size, Freedom much more memorable (go for the freedom!). Disney is good but very expensive, I would try carnival or royal caribbean. Many of them have their special kids club, where they can hang out, supervised for the day. |

Royal Caribbean (Mariner) is the best ship for families in my opinion. It has an ice skating rink and a climbing wall. It's the best line for families with younger children.
Disney is nice, but they divide kids from their parents, it's more like a daycare line. If you want a family cruise, don't take disney. |
