I always get an interior. It is the same size as the outside, but a lot cheaper. I only use the room to shower and sleep anyway.

If you like having sunlight, then an ocean-view cabin is a must. I've noticed that we tend to sleep later in an inside cabin because there is no window to let light in. Also, outside cabins are a little bigger than inside cabins.

Cruise room pricing depends on the type of room (window, etc.) and what level deck you are on. The higher deck level = the more you pay. You may want to try to stay on a lower deck so you can afford a room with a window or balcony.

My first cruise (honeymoon) we went all out and stayed in a room with a balcony. I loved it! It was so nice to go outside for fresh air and to see the sunsets. Our second cruise we booked a room overlooking the promenade (shopping area- interior room) and it was still nice, but I missed the balcony. Both times we cruised on Royal Caribbean- I highly recommend them! Sometimes you can get great deals or free upgrades- contact a travel agent or the cruise lines directly for options.

If you are at all clausterphobic or prone to seasickness I would heartily recommend the window rooms. It will be more light and I always find the windowed rooms to be more relaxing.

For both of my cruises I had a window, which was nice. Honestly, other than the first day, I don't think I really bothered to look out of it. I was really only in my room to sleep and bathe. I would rather have no window and extra cash for all of your stops and excursions.

yes the balconys are real nice. if u can spare the money go for the balcony

If you are closterphobic get a window! otherwise you ar never in your room except to sleep so it's not worth it.

You don't spend much time in your cabin, unless you are antisocial. Save your money and get an inside stateroom on one of the lower decks. The trick is to not get stuck in a cabin in a noisy location - next to an elevator or stairs, or directly below a dining room or other public gathering place. You can check the cruise line's web site or the information they send you to see the deck layouts, and if you don't like the location of your assigned cabin you can ask to have it changed.

You will get to see plenty of the outdoors. I don't feel a window is worth paying more.

I've cruised in both interior (no windows) and exterior rooms, inlcuding ones with balconies. The interior room was a very inexpensive way to cruise, and if money is tight, this is where to save (also, watch how many drinks you buy!). But honestly, if I had the money, I'd pick the best room you can afford. Sometimes, you want a nice, quiet, comfortable "home" base where you can order room service!

depends on length of the cruise and if you will be in your room much..3 or 4 days i like to book with a inside guarantee .. more often than not i get upgraded to a window . on a longer cruise bring a watch if you get a inside cabin. you won't spend much time in your cabin anyway.
