It is true that a Last Minute Travel deal for a cruise is the absolute best--seldom can you beat the price otherwise. However, the catch is: you must travel when they want you to travel and often it is exactly that...last minute (can you be prepared to leave for a cruise THIS weekend if you were to find one?)
One of the best cruise deals I have seen recently is an exclusive being offered online. The catch is: the promotion ends on December 31 but once you buy it yo can sail later in 2009.
Check it the Carnival Cruise line special out at www.2TravelMonkeys.com under the CRUISES tab. Then take this price and compare to others you might find on other online booking engines as well. Simply select the best price for you.

Most of cruises best deals are last minute, although that doesn't give you much time. Most of the websites to book a cruise like vacationstogo.com or the cruise line websites will give you the same price. I always find the best deals on cruisecompete.com What you do is look for a sailing you're interested in, and give them your email address. Within the next 2-3 days you will be emailed with several quotes; many of them different prices and different "extras"(onboard credit, etc.) You will definitely find the best deal there.
