Who thinks a Royal Caribbean employee is responsible for the recent disappearances? |
I read an article in the paper yesterday that said in the last year 4 people have disappered from Royal Caribbean cruise ships....2 in the Mediterrean, and 2 in the Bahamas. It sounded like all 4 disapperaed while the ship was cruising in the ocean, not while docked in one of the ports of call. I've got my own conspiracy theory going, that possibly the person responible is an employee? If not, and it's a passenger, wouldn't the cruse line have a small list of suspects? All they would have to do is check the crew and passenger lists of all four cruises to find the person, right? What do you all think? 4 people in one year all from the same cruise line seems a bit suspicious to me....... |

I have cruised with Royal Caribbean many times. First rule, don't get so drunk you don't know where you are or what you are doing. |

what about a suicide?...something went wrong on the cruise and the passenger jumped out?
but i get what you're saying..it's a good possibility it may be an employee...and how convenient for R.C. to cover it up. |

I have been on 2 R.C. cruises...once right after the honeymooner went over, and again last month...I don't think it can be an employee...see these employee's are contracted to work with R.C. for a period of time (6 month-1 year) and they do not switch ships...
So my advice..be careful who you invite with you on a cruise vacation...make sure they don't want to kill you! |

I do. Because they showed on the news how the cruise people hide a lot of things or cover up problems. They had a former employee of a cruise ship tell some of what they have seen. |

First of all, don't take a cruise. Evil people live beyond the borders of the US, just waiting to snatch up and throw Americans overboard. |

The employee has no personal interest or vendetta in most cases.
It is usually a jealous lover or a drunken accident.
A cruise is a great place for an accidental man overboard. |

i volunteer to sail on their ships and see if i get abducted |

It seems so to me as well, but suspicion could lie on anyone.
Some of the interesting clues have to do with people drinking before hand and being out late at night. Perhaps they come back to their room only to surprise someone ransacking their stuff, and in their inebriated state are rendered incapable of defending themselves. I could imagine that would lead to their demise.
I saw a story about a young man who had been drinking and the next thing he knew he was in the water. He doesn't know how he got there, and was fortunate to be rescued by fishermen. |

Interesting info, I must have missed that on the news, I'm going on an RC cruise in Feb w/ my hubby, that does sound suspicious to me, were they women or men? |

I think they're responsible for finding out what happened. If someone dies at an amusement park, the park would be responsible for the investigation. I think the cruise ships should be held to those same standards.
It's lame when they try to cover it up and pretend everythings okay. Makes me not want to use their business. |

it's got to be an employee. |

except that it was 4 different ships with 4 different crew and 4 different sets of passengers. way to go sherlock. in all of the cases the missing person was videotaped as being excessively drunk. i'm willing to bet that at least 2 of them fell overboard by themselves. |
