There are no crew or passenger decks underwater on any cruise ship. The underwater compartments are used for fuel, water and soil tanks.
The lowest passenger decks are above the crew decks and are all above the ships waterline.
Here's a link to an rccl ship deck plan, you will see that the lowest passenger deck is deck 2, well above the waterline.

No, you won't.

The engines are the only thing consistently below the water line.

No you want. Most underwater cabins are in ships with an car deck. I was on the Jewel of the seas and its lowest deck was number 2, well above the water line. Johan

Cruised with RC and was on deck 2, well above the water line. We had an outside room and could look out the window and had to look down to see the water!

We took Royal Caribbean and stayed in an interior cabin too....I really don't know if we were underwater or not... you really can't tell the difference when your inside something that big but I was concerned before we left. None of our party except myself had a problem with it though....I had a hard time sleeping a couple of nights so I went up and slept on deck in a lawn chair and was able to sleep better....there were a couple of other people doing the same thing! You'll be fine! have fun

My friend said he has been on Royal Caribbean and you may not be underwater at all. But he said he could be wrong.

You will notbe under the water line. Cruises are safe and fun. Certainly safer then being in a car!!
