Will i get sea sick on a cruise? |

Most people don't, but if you get carsick you might want to take some precautions.
- Acupressure wrist-bands seem to work well for some people. My mom (a doctor) swore by these.
- Anti-nausea pills like Sea-Calm and Bonine work well but make some people drowsy. You can get them in a drugstore or on the ship. But it's important to take them BEFORE you start to feel sick.
- If you're very worried, go to your doctor and ask for the Scopalamine Patch. You wear it behind your ear, and it works really well. But it requires a prescription.
And if you're on a ship and start to feel unwell, go outside and get some fresh air. Looking at the horizon helps calm your stomach.

Everyone is different. Some people get very sick while others are not even affected. It also depends where you are going and how ruff the seas are. So you really do not know if you will get sick unless it happens, just go to the doctor on board the ship and pick up a paper on tips to prevent sea sickness and maybe even some chewable sea sick tablets (just in case), those work really good. |

This is an impossible question to answer for many reason. If youre cruising in calm weather in the carebian most people want be seasick and wouldnt even bealive theyre on a ship from time to time. But if youre crossing the atlantic in a storm its more likely that you will be seasick. And its also depends heavely on how sensitive you are for seasicknes.
But overall I wouldnt worry to much about it. Cruising is a great vacation that fits most people. Johan |

Depends, everyone is different. You can go to your doctor and get some prophylactic meds/patches, or just buy some things over the counter, such as sea-band bracelets or some Dramamine. Careful though, cuz the meds may make you drowsy. |

No .. I've been on several, never sick once, and I get car sick! In fact you really cant tell that the ship is moving, it's so huge, so unless there were some wild and wicked storm, I'd say you'll be fine. Just bring some Gravol, or those motion sickness patches, just in case. |
