We just booked the RCCL Adventure of the Seas cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Will the cruise director speak in English, Spanish or both? Has anyone taken this ship to the Southern Caribbean? What did you think? |

The cruise director will speak English, and most likely several other languages. RCCL is an american line, so you will find that the staff speak English as well. Most of the staff are not from te US, so they will speak several languages.That is a wonderful ship, I would take that same cruise over and over again! That ship has 2 Southern Carribean routes, both are amazing. |

Your cruise director will most likely be either American or Canadian. He will speak English. There will be cruise staff who are fluent in Spanish and a couple of other languages. However, the predominant language is English. |

English. By and large the majority of people on a cruise are Americans, no matter where I’ve been. I have yet to be on a cruise that doesn’t speak English first, then Spanish, French, Chinese, Etc. A good cruise director goes over the passenger manifest and makes sure everyone aboard understands the announcements.
