Would a cruise be a good trip for a senior trip?

Hi, I'm class president of my school. I am trying to find the best possible trip for our senior trip. Someone brought up the idea of a cruise. A lot of people seem to like this idea but i do not know a lot about it. What are the best cruise lines? How cheap are they? Would you recommend them as a trip? How long of a trip? etc. Anything else that might be able to help me would be very nice.

You would have to have someone 21 years of age or older in EVERY room OR in a room right across the hall or next door. that might be very difficult. the only reason cruise lines do this is so teens dint get out of control. if it possible to put a adult in adjacent rooms or in every room you could do a cruise, my advice would be to call the cruise line and talk to them about it. alot of people do family reunions, organization trips etc so the cruise line might be able to arrange and handle having a big group take a cruise.

i would try Royal Caribbean, i come from a family of 6 with 3 older teenagers, obviously we cant all fit on one room and royal caribbean has accommodated us every time and let us 3 kids stay in our own room every time with no problem.

also....being out of high school i know how exciting a senior trip can be and alot of 17-18 yr olds want to drink. you cannot sneak booze on a cruise ship or drink on them unless your 21. sadly this might disappoint some teens...just a fyi if your caught with booze they have rights to kick you off the boat or not let you on, i would make that known to all if you choose to do a cruise.

good luck it would be alot of fun for all!

It totally depends on your budget. I think that for a senior trip, it might be a little expensive unless you classmates are ready to fork out about 1500-2000$ bucks on the trip which I think is a little too much. You can go on a 2-3 days trip max for this money too. If you are living near the coast, you can consider a cruise trip.

You might have a problem because of your age. It would require a great number of adults because of the cruise line minimum age to have a cabin. Some require a 21 year old in each cabin.
