Another Q ; this time its about Armenia? |
Do they have Internet? or only the ones outside their country answers?
Do they have democracy? Is it possible to talk however you like in Armenia?
I was told that we have 10's and thousands of Armenian illegal workers in Istanbul. Why are they coming to the country they hate most?
And last question,
Why do they want us to open the border? Are they going to trade with the country they hate most? Additional Details to serial suspendee; thanks for the understanding
to fatih;i am not tryin to start an argument,i 'm just curious about their answers, see it's been hours but there is no serious answers,if i was to ask an insultive question there would be more than 20 answers
and to Aryan; they are plain questions just tell us what do you think about them.. |

4 hours, nothing explanatory from the Armenian guys yet. -except we learned that they have Internet - thanks to Vatche.-
Leprechaun, I really disagree with you this time, dear. The question is not racist. The asker is trying to understand whether the people Armenia also agree with most of the Diaspora Armenians and to point out the catastrophe of some of the Armenians hating Turkey and want to do business at the same time.
I really wish some Armenian citizen can explain it to us without mentioning anything about the genocide theory. |

This question is no different than those racist people typing hatred messages about Turks.
Do not insult people.Whoever they are.
Edit1: Serial Suspendee, thanks for the thumbs. I'm flattered to get your first thumbs down :)
Edit 2: Fatih, Ipek ; i'm as irritated as you with those racist questions against Turks, that is why i don't like people asking hurtful questions. I imagined what if an Armenian asked the same question against Turks (is there democracy in Turkey,is there internet in Turkey etc..) i would be so pissed. And i don't believe people should treat hate with more hate.Their insults shouldn't be an excuse. We should show our nobility first. |

It is not your concern that there is democracy in Armenia or not, they have Internet or not, you have to concern yourself for the issues going on in your country, you have lots of problems and people are dividing the country to pieces.
You are asking about Armenians in Turkey?
Let me ask you this, what are Turks doing in European countries 100s of thousands of them (Germany for example), seeking work and doing all kind of jobs (which is OK by me and I would not have mention it here, until I saw your insulting remarks about my countryman).
Problems exists in every country every nationality, you are just trying to insult here.
We don't hate Turks, even though they can't admit to the Armenian Genocide but silently believe in it, in their heart.
We don't hate Turkish people at all, they are people like everywhere else, it is your government that we dislike, that did the unbelievable and destroyed all the evidence of the Genocide, turned it around and made it look like it was just a war thing, NO…..
We don't hate Turkey how can we, part of our country, our history is living in Turkey, like a stranger in a new city, waiting to get the first opportunity to get back home, our Ararat our Van (my grandmother's birth place), have you read history, do you know Van was capital of Armenia once?
Our Lake Van our Kars, Ardahan and and and and. Oh believe me we don't hate Turkey.....We love Turkey!
You are in a big denial and that's right there when I say the brain washed thing exists.
Amen |

We do have internet yes. I can not see what is the point of this question. |
|

? ? ? I. A. ? ? ?
 |
You asked some interesting questions...But I hope you are not simply trying to create some quarrels here...I wonder whether it's a new kind of strategy or not...
Leprauchen, I understand what you're meaning, but the insults and provocations that we Turks receive are even worse than this question...And I know what I am talking about, because I am Turk from France ( if you could come to Paris, you would be disgusted and shocked by the super-agressive propaganda which is done here by the French-Armenians...)
Actually I agree especially with Serial Suspendee's answer... |

Every Armenian does.
Off course it is possible. Armenia is a free country.
Whoever said that they lied.
Nobody wants to take something from you especially me. |

this is a free land.Let them come and work.
The Armenians who hate Turks are the ones in Europe and the states.Because they re so comfortable and got nothing to do than getting their unemployment benefit and swear to Turkey. |

The foreign workers kill every sector, they're working cheap and doing their jobs well,i know a lot of Armenians working as laborer
I think closing the border is not a good idea, trade will bring relationships,we're neighbours,we can't be enemies forever,we don't have to like each other but we have to live together, forever, because nobody's going anywhere. |

Of course Armenia has internet and as far as I know they are a democracy. Freedom of speech is the same as with some countries, it is there, it is present but you just can't say anything you want and expect to cleanly get away with it.
Turkey closed its border with Armenia in 1993 in an act of solidarity with Azerbaijan. The reason some want the Turkish border open is because it is the longest, therefore, simplest, cheapest and quickest route for transporting goods. The Georgian border is short, risky, unstable and under-developed. The Iranian border is tiny and Iran has serious long-term geo-political problems. Given that can you blame Armenian businessmen to want the border open regardless of their own country's and diasporas' national demands?
Opening up borders will also promulgate trade and exchange but in this case, the opening up of Turkey's borders according to the Armenian diaspora is tantamount to admitting to the supposed "genocide" which Turkey will not obviously do. |

What do you mean they have internet?! NO! Only Turkey has got internet!!!!! Childish!!!!!
Armenia is small, but free and democratic. You've better doubt about human right and freedom of speech in Turkey rather than in Armenia.
There are only about 70,000 Armenian Turkish citizens in Turkey, are you sure about what you "are told"?! Any official and reliable sources???
Turkey was the one who closed the border and made the problem more complicated. This is in contrast with the claims of Turkey that "Turkey is interested in solving Armenian problem". How can the problem be solved while the enmity with Armenians is still continuing?
EDIT:
To questioner:
Here is for asking "real" questions and receiving different answers.
Your ears are closed to other ideas except what you think.
You just want to hear people supporting yourself and your idea.
After each answer you receive, if you like it you thank the poster, if not you write some nonsense to them insisting on your own idea.
HOW CAN YOU SPEAK OF DEMOCRACY AND COMMENT ABOUT ARMENIA WHEN YOU OPPOSE EVERY IDEA BUT YOUR OWN?!
All you want is argument and enmity. |

What are you trying to say Sera İs Back? Huh, we don't believe it, it's not in our hearts, and we never think about it , ! |

This must be the thousandth question about Armenians in this Turkey section. The subject has become so tensioned, because lots of times the questions and answers are coming with insults and hatred. I think this question comes from good intentions, but is for sure insulting people, both Armenian and Turkish (see the reaction of Leprechaun).
Asking if Armenians have internet would be the same if you'd ask if they're all backward, living in villages with no water and electricity. Please remember that this is a sensitive subject and if you're really curious about Armenians, chose your words with care and respect. Advise: if you really want to know more about how Armenians live, ask them and not Turkish people. Am sure there are different ways to contact them as on Y/A Turkey |
