Any ideas where to go?

i want a few days in somewhere fairly warm in february. unable to do a full week . needs to be somewhere picturesque and interesting. i live in London.

Madeira....not for people who just want to party or lie on the beach all day but warm and picturesque and not too far away...closer than the Canaries.

Ross B...Goa?? are you serious??? it would take a day to get there and a day to get back, the lady only has a few days at most.

If you want warmth then Spain would be the best choice, maybe Portugal if you want a low key place to stay. Lisbon if you're looking for culture that's not as overcrowded as Venice.
