Heres a website you may find useful,http://www.sarigerme.net/
Well i live in fethiye and its 30mins away from sarigerme Oct-May is the low season here and for many tourist who dont like to be too hot they find it lovely on these dates its a comfortable heat during the day and goes a little chilly by night. towards the end of may it is more swimming weather so you may want to consider coming at the end of may also it does rain sometimes although maybe for an hour or two and quickly drys up.
Current temprature here in fethiye is:60'f it is a clear day.
Fethiyes may tempratue is:
average low: 53'f
average high:76'f:

I went to Turkey last May and spent almost everyday sunbathing by the edge of the pool. It gets a little cool on the evenings, but a little hoody or cardi will do the trick.

May is an ideal time to go as it is just before the tourist season really kicks off, so it shouldn't be too busy.

It is pleasantly hot can get cool at night but not compared to UK.It differs from north to south.Istanbul is usually similar to UK then maybe slightly hotter but the south is beautiful.I know I live in Bodrum and at the moment my wife is stretched out sunbathing on the balcony and the weather here only gets better from now on.It has been forecast we are going to be the hottest summer ever this year so it could be hotter than usual.

yeh i went to marmaris (turkey) in may/june, and it was proper hot, 40-50, days it so hot that the shops are shut in the day and open in the evening because its cooler in the evening...

but its nice, worth going..

you can check the average temperatures - google it..

It depends what part of the country you are going to. Istanbul is still pretty cool and so is Ankara because it is still land locked inland and doesn't get as much of the warm winds from the Med. . Now the costal regions in the country, Izmir Antalya, Kiskalasee and other costal areas are petty warm by may. But once you hit June it gets a bit hotter in the costal region. Sometimes as much as 40 to 45 Celcius at the extreme most, but not as hot as 50. I've been there through the hot times of the year also and even that is tolerable, as long as you can go around in light shorts and a light shirt for ventilation.

But in short, May is alright for traveling to Turkey as far as weather goes.

i got to turkey beginning of may and end of september.
the weather is just right... not too hot and not too cold. u will need to take something to cover you in the evenings tho as it does get a little nippy.
it may rain a little but its warm... ive been known to walk around in my bikini in the rain.

Irmak
I live in Istanbul (here is a lil bit cold) but u know there is global warming so places which are touristic can be hot (I'm not sure)

Not too hot and sometimes the wather can have little bits of rain but generally quite good, this was along the coast not sure what it's like if you are going inland or further North as is quite a big country. If you go have a lovely time.
