I have stayed at San Antonio Bay @ The hotel Milord which was on the beach. It will be red hot, I went about then last year and it was the hottest place I have been to. I also went on a boat trip to Formentera it's an island just South of Ibiza I highly recommend it the beaches are like nothing on earth , Stunning!! £1000 should be enough, it really depends how thirsty you are !! :)

£1000 should be fine - in fact you can get by on a lot less. Pre book any club tickets and drink plenty in the cheaper bars before you hit the clubs. If you aren't just coming here for the partying then rent a car or moped then you can see some more of the island - the beaches on the north coast are stunning. If you fancy a sophisticated night out then head into Ibiza town, nice restaurants and places like Pacha and El-Divino.

The weather at that time of year is usually lovely and warm although not the suffocating heat of august. The Island is just starting to get really busy but not so much that you suffer for it. One word of advice though pre-book transfers to your hotel as the taxi situation is ridiculous over here. Once you are suitcase free you can rely on buses (that run into San An all night and from there to Ibiza all night as well) and the water taxis.

Make sure you visit the hippy market and wander round the port in Ibiza town for some shopping and food wise go to the bigger supermarkets like suma and syp rather than the small ones that are twice the price.

Hope you have a great time

ibiza party rocks!

£1,000 is way too much.

That's like £71 a day. Can't you survive or have a good time on less than that? Consider it a challenge and get by on £35 per day (plenty imo), still have a great time. Get your booze from supermarket and have a few before you go out.

Put the saved £500 towards a new holiday. Our 14 day Five Star hotel holiday only cost £1800 all in, for two of us.

If you have to go nightclubs.. charm the door staff and get in for free. £71 a day - sheesh.

We returned from San Antonio Bay at the end of June, had a brilliant time, take your thousand pound as you will need it, if your going to the clubs they range from 35-70 euros for entry, then 8-12 euros for a drink, 8 being for bottled water, we went to Mambo and Cafe del Mar it was 32 euros for 4 vodkas with diet coke, I wish we were still there as we had such a good time, we will definitely go back, the beaches and the weather were the best..........have a great time, I`m so jealous x.

I went a few years ago. I found the prices for food really cheap but if you are hitting the clubs, the drinks can get pricey. I really enjoyed mself but it was more of a girly hol than a relaxing one so i was pretty trolleyed most of the time! I stayed in San Antonio town which i think is a short water taxi away. If you do go into the town, i recommend Soul City! Brilliant Club and not too pricey!
