Home turf, go for Cornwall -Newquay,St Ives,St Mawes, Truro to name a few. Further a field many of the islands of Greece are beautiful or the south of France and I don't necessarily mean the over priced rich and famous towns on the coast,there are so many quaint little villages and cosmo cities to explore.If you want to spend alittle money then the Maldives or Mauritius has everything sun, sea, sand,spectacle,nice people and good food.
This all depends on what you want from your holiday. Beach holidays,tranquility,party towns,sight-seeing,romance,activities , I could go on! but the above are a good start for what you may want.

Protaras, Cyprus! Most of the hotels are situated along the shoreline of Fig Tree Bay and Flamingo Bay, and are all within easy walking distance of the shops, bars and restaurants. From here, you're just a short drive/bus trip/taxi ride from Agia Napa.....and, no, Agia Napa isn't all booze cruises and lager louts...theres lots of great beaches, bars and restaurants, and a huge waterpark....the biggest in Europe!
I live just a short drive from Agia Napa.....Cyprus is a great place for your holiday!! Enjoy!

definitely Greece, fantastic weather, reasonable prices, blue seas, good night life, as well as plenty to do in the day, if you wish to, friendly and welcoming Greek people, what more could you ask for? to have a fantastic time.
