Protaras, Cyprus. Everything you need in one place!!
The hotels are mainly situated along the shoreline of Fig Tree Bay....some great sandy beaches, and all of these are just a short walk from the bars and restaurants. There is plenty of entertainment for the kids too; waterpark, Crazy golf;, fairground etc. The Cypriots just love families and kids, and you would be welcome everywhere.

also, just a short trip away; don't dismiss Agia Napa!! Its not all clubs and booze cruises!! There are some great beaches; Adams, Nisi, Liminaki, and Makronissoss. There is a huge waterpark, a funfair, and some great places to eat out!!

Its currently about 28C here, and warming up nicely, though we do have a severe water shortage at the moment....we havent had any substantial rainfall for about two years, and there is now talk of shipping water in from Greece ready for the influx of Summer visitors.

Yes, I'm sure you would love Protaras!!

Some funny answers down below. Paris.??
Try jumping on one of the low cost airlines to the Costa Dorada, Stay in La Pineda, great beach, good amount of restaurants, bars and shops and a water park in the centre.
Salou and Porta Ventura theme park 10 mins up the road.

Ever considered going "camping" with one of the ready erected companies, eg. Eurocamp, Canvas Holidays, etc?
You may thing this is a bit "boy scoutish" but it isn't. The beauty of such a holiday is that they cater for families with children and the facilities they provide are of a very high standard and are well supervised. There is enormous choice of places to go from Normandy and Brittany in northern France, the west coast of France with great beaches, the french Riviera, Italy and Spain. You can stay either in a large cottage tent (with proper sprung beds) or a 3 bedroom mobile home. All the things you need are provided, except possibly bed linen and towels, including patio furniture, barbeque. Facilities for children include swimming pools, outdoor games area, bike hire, etc., etc., etc. You could look at their websites to get a good idea of this type of holiday.

Definately go to Turkey. I went on a family holiday last year and it was brilliant. if you book it on line it is cheaper. there were 3 children under 9, and 8 adults. there was something for everyone. and they love children, and cater very well for them.
