They are not friendly to my people (Macedonians). Don't know and don't care about the others.

Good and bad everywhere - at 14 it's always difficult to make friends and mix (teenagers are sp strange all around the world) Usually it's adults that push teens together - if your parents strike up a conversation with someone with a teenager - then they are more likely to suggest that so and so takes you under their wing!
Have a great time

People in Greece are very friendly and kind, most teenagers
speak English and are well manerd. You will not have a problem if you respect them and their country.
Actually they have problems every year with tourists that go there to have a good time and forget that they are their guests. They drink and loose control and abuse the hospitality shown to them. You have nothing to worry about if you are nice ,it comes back to you.

I enjoyed the Greek people more than anyplace else in the entire world (for me that only includes about 20 countries) .... enjoy. At 14, all I could say is it may be difficult just because you ARE 14 -- so please, be yourself is the only advice I could give. I found the Greek people wonderfully curious so beginning conversations should be easy for you. Enjoy your fabulous Greek heritage.

Most of Greeks love tourists, and they seem really interested in learning about other countries and different cultures. But don't except perfect english skills, we got 0 skill in english accent :P

ps.: Yeah watch the boys. They are kinda fast-forwarding here, if you know what I mean!

Allan d and Just Another Macedonian are just trolls who have nothing better to do with their lives than pester this section. Please don't pay any attention to them.

Panathinaikos
There are many people your age and most speak English, the other option is German I think. The people are very friendly but when they play soccer they get very enthusiastic :D
I went to one of the most rural villages in Greece and every kid over there knew English.

They are very proud of who they are and they love to interact with tourists, especially in America. Be polite and they will be back, just like any other person. Greeks aren't aliens, they are people XD

there are many villages you might not find local children but you are bound to find some at your hotel around your age

people have a large tendency to be nice

to be honest i have never had a Greek person be rude to me unless they had reason to such as if you are underage and trying to get into a bar (btw its 17 without an adult, but i don't recommend trying to go to bars)

Honesty, it depends on what area of Greece you will be visiting. Just watch your back especially with the boys there.
