some of them are very friendly but some of them are very ignorant like people in anywhere else.... you can never generalize....

Hi..well I dont know any turkish person, yet I am sure that there are friendly, unfriendly, tall, short, dark, blonde, intelligent and stupid persons in Turkey like everywhere else.

However, in Yahoo Answers there is at least one Turkish anwerer who is cheating with the voting....either that or there is a turkish mafia infiltrated in Yahoo Answers to vote each other, even when their replies... let us say......are not that good, informative, complete or even show a minimum effort by the winning answerer. Now this is a fact!

Please, excuse me all other Turkish persons who are not this cheating individual or part of this group of individuals, sorry if you might feel insulted since that is not my intention in any way, in fact its a pity that such a noble and cultivated people as the Turkish, guardians during centuries of eastern and western cultures, are being missrepresented here by a cheater/s, who have not been chosen by them as their representatives.

It makes all Yahoo Answers questions in which they participate, usually there is some Turkey related info needed, smell like rotten habisce....excuse me..I mean rotten hybiscus. If anyone wants to see all the rotten habisce...excuse me again....rotten hybiscus flowers voting...I mean rotting together you will, as an experienced people you are, know where to go, know what to look for and clearly understand what I mean.

And...everyone remember, be you Turkish, Armenian, English, Spanish, Chinese, Hebrew or from wherever, during any genocide,.....so much genocide talk amongst these same few is quite creepy too, the silent witnesses of the exterminators are as guilty as them. They are the passive cowards that empower them and let them commit all the crimes.

even when ppl insult (for example some Armenians on here) we just try and try and try to be friends but even skys have limits....

I take it you mean Turkish people. Yes, they're very friendly, (unless they want to sell you a carpet, in which case they can be too friendly!) If you are visiting any country, it will help a lot if you can learn the simple words for hello, goodbye, please, thankyou, yes and no. Get a good guidebook with a common-phrases section, and ask your guide/ hotel porter/ local contact to help you with pronunciation. Smile, be nice, and have a good trip!

They are all friendly, except a few, who can be found in any country.

Well I found the turkish women to be very friendly , it seemed everywhere I went I was approached and chatted up by turkish women , they just loved to talk about everything . The men however , with few exceptions were very annoying. always wanted to talk about the mosque , and are you christian. and always trying to rip you off for your money. One guy even explained that if i convert to islam and get circumcised it would be a great thing , and of course I had to explain that a majority in christianity know all about circumcision..................

i ve been to turkey loads of times and they are very very friendly, some times a bit in your face when at baazar or out on an evening, but are harmless.

Yes. Because;

In Turkey , visit a small village knock a door and say I'm thirsty.
Even they are not rich , they give you water , tea , ayran , food and try to help you anyway without money.
No matter your , religion , wear , language is.

If you do this an other part of the world. They can call local police.

i wouldn't generalize.. there are good ones and bad ones everywhere. people in small towns and villages are quite nice, they're still more traditional. but most of the turkish people are quite helpful i'd say.
