In Ankara, I don't think so, unless there are also some African people among the foreign students in universities. Or maybe you'll meet some football players"s sisters there ( in Ankaraspor and AnkaragÃ¼cÃ¼ there are a couple of foreign black players, not to mention also the basket-ball teams)

In Izmir and Aydin ( and also in Manisa ) ,there is a tiny Turkish Black community, but it's so tiny that I'm not sure that you'll easily find someone who'll be at same time attractive,single and disposed to accept you as well...

I think you'll find more people , of any race, in Istanbul, because this city is huge and cosmopolitan...

If I were you, I'd go rather to Morroco,Egypt or Tunisia, if you are so " selective"...

There were black students in METU when I was there. But I find this question a bit strange, I must tell you. Unless you are black and would like to see some color around you, that is.

Yes, there are quite a good number of Black Women in Ankara.I am not a citizen of this great country.I have visited the City of Ankara several times . But, I am sorry to say that I don't remember the name of any locality or street of this nice City.If you travel round the city the streets along with a local friend/ known person there, I am sure , you will find plenty of them in different locations.....they are not an isolated lot there.They are as free as others are in the city.

I met a Turkish guy a couple of months ago who was here (in Amsterdam) for a vacation. We started talking and during our conversation he told me that he was surprised about the amount of black people that live here. After that he told me that there aren't that much black women living in Turkey.

So I guess that there are some black women in Ankara, but as previous posters said they are either; tourist, students or football players relatives.

Turkish people are %99.99 white and if you see a black person be sure that she is a tourist.There are only a few black turkish people around izmir,aydin and mugla region who were brought from africa by ottoman empire.

Only tourists or people who are married to turkish people. There aren't much black people in Turkey( unfortunately ) ...
