Of course, one cannot forget the most important FYROMian philosopher, Kleftis Koultouras - he's the base thinker for their society! |

We should not forget Heraclitonov Ephesovski. A great philosopher who was born in Ephesus , but he is not Greek. His parents were Macedonians and went for vacations there , but his mother born him there because they missed the ship to Solun.
He is famous for his phrase " Ta panta rei kai ta panta fyromei" ! |

Philosopher : From the Greek word : Philosophos (literaly meaning "Philos tis Sofias" = friend of wisdom (alegedly Sofia was a nice looking woman that every male wanted to befriend her and get to "know her" (in the Biblical meaning of "knowing someone"). Hence, since they were all in love with her and heartbroken they started philosophizing the facts of life.
Now, if there were ANY FYROMian philosophers, they would have to be eloquent in Greek in order to develop their thinking and most of all to have "known" (in the biblical meaning of the word) Sofia.
But somehow, I doubt that Sofia would lower her standards and end up with a FYROMian.
Wait a minute... there were no FYROMians back those days!
Only a Greek tribe called Macedonians, that spoke Greek, was writing Greek and thought Greek.
And to finish my rant over here (what was I saying anyway???) when we Greeks had high cholesterol and had developed a treatment for it, our neighbor nations had not discovered yet the practice of eating meat for nutrition! |

The greatest FYROM philosopher was Josip Broz Tito
http://cidc.library.cornell.edu/dof/fathers.htm
His philosophy was "why suffer your people to toiled and sacrifice to establish a long rich history and centuries of culture steeped in tradition, when you can just rename yourself and steal someones else's culture, identity and history by proxy of your new name." |

You leech off of ancient Greeks so you could live a lazy and selfish life, but even all of you together cannot be a patch on one of those philosophers. |

I'm sorry, I don't know any Macedonian historians. Then again, I was never an ardent student of philosophy, my bad. But coming to speak of it, perhaps you'd like to enlighten me, are there any notable modern Greek philosophers who are as famous as Aristotle, Plato or Socrates today? |
