In an old study I read in Time magazine (it was an issue on genes if I'm not mistaken), it said an estimated 40% of Turks were natural blonde and redheaded (blonde ranging from light silver to dark blonde).

So yes. Duh.

Well there are Turks with light coloured hair yes,but if your talking real blonde/white hair like a swede,they are harder to find.

Even in sweden they are hard to find.i have a swedish friend,female,who tell me around 70% of swedish women dye thier hair lighter tone blonde,as true natural blonde is usually 'dirty blonde'.

Yes, ofcourse there are..
But like most of the others said they are mostly dirty blonde- dark blonde.. their hair gets lighter during summer though :))
About what Biro 206 said, she is totally right, my dads best friend came from a village where everybody had blue eyes and whitish blonde hair, so when he was born with brown eyes hismom freaked out... hahaha :D :D :D

Yes, mainly in the North but not as common as brown/very dark hair. You can get natural blonde's in the Middle East. You get blonde's in many places, it's just they are way more common in northern Europe.

In some parts of the Middle East in the mountainous areas there are many fair skinned people with blonde hair.

My husband is from Afghanistan and he has got black hair and brown eyes. Nearly all Afghani men have dark hair and dark eyes, so I guess it is the same for Turkish since they are also muslims. I have never seen a muslim with light hair and light eyes, but my husband told me that his brother had green eyes.
