Are there people who visit Amsterdam for reasons other than cannabis?

just wondering if any tourists go there for a bike ride or to take a windmill tour.

Frankenmom
Yes. Most definitely.

Amsterdam is incredibly beautiful. There's stacks of museums, the architecture is really different, the canals and road systems are extremely out of the ordinary, there are some huge excellent markets, and of course Amsterdam is famous for tulips.

I don't do cannabis and I really loved Amsterdamp; it really was like nothing I had experienced before.

I went to visit local friends and, not surprisingly, none of them does these things amsterdam is famed for. it's only the americans.

plenty of brilliant places. as a personal interest I visited tons of beer establishments as well ('t arendsnest, wildeman, gollem, bierkoning, ij, etc.).

and there's always kroketten....

My friends, having done debauchery during their twenties, now come for over for shopping, art, eating out and strolling through the quaint quarters.
If they're particularly prudish I like walking back to the central station via the Red Light District.

Always Right
Some of us go for the hookers.

Yes...the Van Gogh Museum is there and so is the Anne Frank attic. In addition, the Heineken brewery is there.

I was in the military and could not partake in the whole cannabis thing.
