10 reasons to go to Belgium:

1. we have a lot of museums, cultural activities, etc. packed closely together
2. all our major cities are little wonders, they all differ from each other but they're a nice mix of several architectural genres.
3. The people are friendly & polite & will do their best to help you out.
4. The food is great, you can find anything you want, even a lot of asian & african restaurants.
5. The best kinds of beer are brewd and sold in Belgium, even some germans admit it.
6. It's the geographic center of Europe & a lot of official organisations like NATO have a building here you can visit.
7. The woman here are pretty & smart. The guys are witty & loyal
8. We really do have the best chocolate of the world, but there are other sweets like nougat and waffers we're very proud off.
9. We also make amazing fries that you can get with almost any dish you'll ever order.
10. Even at rush hour you still can take a nice walk without having the feeling the entire world has passed you by.

More than diamonds, beer, and chocolate, Belgium is just a really cool and fun place to visit. Brussels is an active, lively city with a lot of young people and tons to do. Outside of Belgium is a lot of gorgeous countryside, perfect for daytrips and adventuring.

Can't help it. After eating chocolates from Belgium; nothing else deserves the name. A friend brought us back from her visit home, while we were both serving at the Baha'i Centre in Haifa, Israel, in the 80s, and they were like eating chocolate whipped cream. Just melt in your mouth. I've never forgotten them. Sorry. Just had to say it. The chocolates and the friend, herself, were just wonderful!
