Best Greek Island to visit for a summer holiday for two young female students?

Mykonos and Santorini are I think the best choices for your age, and holiday style. Mykonos can be quite expensive, and too much clubbing-like atmosphere, but you can avoid it if you don't stay out too late etc. Myconos is the absolute CLUB island! There are many clubs for drinking and dancing all night long. It has white sand beaches with special facilities and unforgettable villages!
Santorini in the town Fira has a bit too much tourism, which spoils its traditional setting, but the town Oia is beautiful. I personally love Naxos, it has the best beaches.
All islands are beautiful and you can find historical places near blue waters to swim~

Symi! It is definately independant and it has its own style because it is a smaller island so it doesnt have any resorts or 'sleazy club strips'. There are festivals throughout July and August with live concerts. A few clubs, a few live music bars. Lots of gorgeous beaches, and the harbour is beautiful. We also have a famous monastery which is great to hop on a moped to ride over the island to see. And if you get bored (which is unlikely) and you need more things to see and do, you can go back over to Rhodes which you have to fly into to get to Symi!

Any of the bigger Greek Islands will be the place to go.
So, Corfu, Rhodes and Crete are your obvious choices.
Your Travel Agent will point you to the right spots on them.
I would avoid Kavos in Corfu, Faliraki in Rhodes and Malia in Crete but then, I'm twice+ your ages and i want quiet places.
You can get plenty of them on all 3 islands.
Enjoy wherever you go.

Myconas or Santorini are both beautiful just like in a postcard, but watch out for the men. They can get well rather assertive in their advances. Stick close together.

amorgos,santorini,thassos,mykonos,skopel... allonisos, zante there are 4000 of them inhabited and not,my suggestion ,do your research,if you can fly to it it is about to be overcrowded and spoilt ,either get to athens and catch a boat somewhere with no airport,or fly to an island and catch a boat to somewhere local with again no airport.....you will find the burned English and others everywhere,pending what time of year you going,let me know exactly what you looking for and I can come up with all the good suggestions.

zante i went on my own last year lol and iam 23 you will have fun there and there is lots of places to go like smugglers cove , blue cave, zante town, days out over to kefilona, 2 days at athens there is alot to do there loads of bars for the night and restraunts cheap , i am decideing where to go again this year looks like iam going on my own lol if you need a 3rd person give us a bell lol

Lefkada - really nice place - there are a few English in Nidri but not at all like the holiday makers of Kavos - Corfu / Laganas-Zakynthos - Malia-Crete.
It's very pretty and if you hire a motorbike/car you'll get to see some of the best beaches in Greece. You can always get the bus and come into Preveza for the night to experience a more 'Greek' time (August in Preveza is packed with Greek holiday makers)
From Lefkada there are also boat trips to other islands.

Don't even think about Skiathos. Two young women would be absolutely bored out of their minds, unless you like it really quiet.

Mykonos is a beautiful island. I recommend it resturants, nightlife, people, scenery magnificent.
