If you've got a Greek birth certificate, it should be easy. Go to a Greek consulate and ask them.
Especially is you can prove that you grandmother was Egyptiotissa (Greeks from Egypt are named like this) it should be really easy for you and your parents to get Greek citizenship.

If you feel like one then yes!

I think you must check with the Ministry of foreign affairs (www.mfa.gr) or the greek Embassy. Your grandmother being Greek will probably help to give you a citizenship, but having been born here doesn't. Many children of immigrants are born here and do not have a greek citizenship, but perhaps if your father can get the citizenship because his mother is Greek, so can you. However, I warn you that you will have to do a military service if you get the Greek citizenship.

Do you speak Greek? Have you had Greek education (Paedia)? Therein is your answer. Otherwise you have Greek blood in you. That is something to be proud of.

I agree with Roubini, being Greek depends on how much you love, care about and know Greece's history.

I believe this stands for every nationality.
One is what one decides, is proud of and what his heart desires to be.

Ask consulate in Alexandria or in Cairo. They will tell you exactly what you need and what procedures to follow.

If you have a greek birth certificate you are greek. If you are a male you will have to serve in greek military upon reaching 18 yrs, since you are registered, does not expire. But this is only if you intend on living in Greece. You will be able yo visit for up to 3 months w/out fear of being drafted.
