lol..... so what you are asking for then is answers that say "yes go for it - smuggling drugs is a brilliant idea"

Well Einstein, only a fool would say that, and come to mention it, only a fool would try to smuggle drugs and that is exactly what you are planning to do.

When your bag goes off along that pretty little conveyor belt, you don't see what happens to your bags and the checks that take place. I have an ex-colleague who used to work at Schiphol and enlightened me to what really goes on behind the scenes - suffice to say they don't just kiss your bags and wave goodbye to them.

If you get through Schiphol, well you can be pretty sure that you will be pulled up at the other side - unless you are a master at (a) body language and disguising the guilt that will be written over you subconsciously and (b) finding the off switch to the remote controls that sniffer dogs operate on..... wait, they don't, well then tough luck!

Schiphol is my home airport and for business I have flown more times than I can remember - and you don't want to know how many times I have seen others stopped, or sniffer dogs present, and yes even been stopped myself wearing a business suit and hand baggage. Flights from Schiphol are automatically watched as standard procedures!

Do you honestly think that all the "wonderful" idea's have not been thought of by drug mules throughout the world. The "it's only a little bit" defense won't wash either - so start preparing for the body cavity search- better you than me.

Don't come on here and try to gain approval from others, and for goodness sake don't be a fool and try to carry drugs - and believe me that IS the positive version of what I really want to say.

I'm sure the customs guards will think, 'Oh, she's been to Amsterdam, she must really like tulips.' and they won't search you.

Four years for a bit of weed, fantastic. While you're at it, why not bring back a bomb? Airlines love it, really!

Well, coming back from Amsterdam automatically flags your for extra special searching when returning to the US. Why risk it? Are huge fines and possible jail time worth a little cheaper weed? If you're paying all that money to go to Amsterdam, to come back with a little weed, you're just going to end up causing yourself trouble and hassle.

trying to hide it is worse, if you just have a couple of joints worth in a pocket of your jeans that are in your case, you will just be let go with a warning, but you try to hide it, you will def be charged if they find it!
i have brought it back a couple of times, the first time was an accident, but was so easy, but i would say that bringing back black is much safer, cause u can smell weed a mile away!!

The sniffer dogs can find even the smallest of amount buried under peanut butter, or stuffed in gallons of shampoo.

In the US, flights from Amsterdam are checked extra.

as you already read, it's not such a good idea to take back weed into the states..i guess i get a lot of thumbs down , but wanted to give you the suggestion to send your stuff by mail..so you don't have it with you...However, also the post gets controlled, so there's a big chance it won't arrive

Wrong is not the word that comes to mind. Stupid might be more adept. Yes I have heard stories. Hiding it in a jar of Coffee is such a story. The smell of coffee is so strong that the dogs won't find the weed. So if you try this and get caught, will you send us a warning? No, the same goes for the others that were caught and said they had a proven method. .
It is not only the dogs that find stuff, there are other methods like checking you out, your appearance, the way you act and they look in shampoo and peanut butter jars and coffee. If you know a trick, they have heard it too.

You actually need to be under arrest for a body cavity search so keep your luggage clean and you wont get arrested. (how big is your cavity) & why waste your time with weed when the stuff we have here is just as good if not better. Ask anyone there and theyll tell ya No Cali are the true pioners. If you wanna make the risk useful, bring back seeds, they have no thc content (but are still illegal) Be careful, customs agents can be real *****, I have been stripped searched, it sucks.
