??????
We have mild med climate. Cyprus is nice even in winter. Ayia Napa is almost dead during winter months, most of the hotels are closed, Protaras is just a bit better during winter.
As Larnaca, Limassol and Pafos are big towns, "life goes on" all year round.
But the dead period exists: from mid January until beginning of March: only a few tourists and even we are down, but expecting spring - the most beautiful season in Cyprus.
You are welcome to the Island of love any time!

it gets cold from november until april.. many clubs are open though in many places on the island..

We tend to go in November, not busy like the Summer months but still warm enough for shorts etc. Everything is open. We stay in Pathos

i live in cyprus. its not so good in late November-late February/early March. as im sure u know the summer time is very good for shopping. In Larnaka you could go to the Phinikoudes and in Lefkosi you can go to Mikri Geitonia. both are very nice. Agia Napa along with Paralimni and Protara are mostly open in the summer time for watersport and things like that. Paphos has a lot of hotels but theres not really a closed/open season there.

I live cyprus - Limassol and Paphos are all year round resorts

Ayia Napa and Protaras gets very quiet after the end of October as many of the main tour operators dont fly there during the winter months which is 31st October to 1st April.
While some bars and resturants do stay open choice is limited.

The winter starts usually in December (when it also snows in the mountains and you can go Sking) The weather starts to heat up around May with August being the hottest month.

Around the end of October to the end of March.

There actually isn't really a closed season! Cyrpus gets sun basically all through the year. Tourists tend to go (obviously) over summer holidays, and it quietens down throughout the year. Depends on what you want. We went to Cyprus early march, everything was open but there weren't that many people about. Again, it totally depends on what you are looking.

June / July / August is their busiest months though

Hurricane
Cyprus is affected by the mediterrean climate so the weather is warm from April to December.it is a warm and lovely island for summer holidays but in summer is really hot! it was 45 C a few weeks ago.

No such thing as a closed season in Cyprus. There are not many tourists in certain areas (ayia Nap etc) and clubs close but in the larger places,Nicosia,Larnaca,Limmassol,Paphos,... things remain open and the daytime temperatures are warm but cold at night during Jan to end of March. If you want culture ,peace and quiet and lovely scenery, then Cyprus is lovely in the winter months.
