In Turkey beachwear is not regulated.
It is dictated by sense of fashion and common sense.
You can sunbath topless in Turkey.
Many people do.
Never seen anybody taking off the bottom though!

Yes, you can definitely go topless in the tourist areas in Turkey. Other areas, well, you'd have to just use your common sense and realize, "hmm, is this a beach for families where I shouldn't take my top off?" or "yes! this place is swarming with young and relaxed people who wouldn't mind me taking off my top!" Well, you get the idea..

And to anybody who says that you can't because it's a Muslim country is mistaken. Turks realize people have their own preferences and if somebody wants to go to a beach and sunbath topless, then it's ok with them as long as you're in the right environment ie. not a family beach.

In tourist areas yes you can! It is not illegal.

yes you can, its not illegal. Lots of tourists go topless in either their hotels or on the beach. just use your judgement, you will know when it is inappropriate.

No, it is not illegal.
There are lots of women sunbathing topless in Turkey.
In some public beaches, there may be people looking at you, and you may feel a little uncomfartable. But they will not disturb you in any way and after a while mind their own business.
But at the beaches of the hotels or resorts (private beaches) you will not even be noticed.

as long as you are not the first or only one i dont see why not in an area with many euro tourists. but listen to the turks opinions not mine. i've heard it a pretty moderate country and very popular destination.

no its not illegal but try to do it at touristic beaches ...(my boys laugh a lot when they see a topless woman because their breasts are being lifted by the water and they think that looks very funny...just wanted to share it they are 9 years old)...but dont worry lots of tourists do that..have fun...

Its quite disprespectful, they would see it like that anyway! its a muslim country! plus you will get dirty old men leering at you!! just gives us tourists a bad name. Its even rude over there to show too much flesh!!!!!
