Yes. Jealously can do strange things to people. It can make normally mild, level headed people turn into raving lunatics. |

Certainly. But immature people are everywhere, and I think we have to accept them as they are that is, losers. :) |

I think that the personality disorder isn't caused by the jealousy. The person already had a predisposition toward mental illness then may have had some life stressors that pushed him/her to psychosis (insanity). Jealousy doesn't cause it; it's just one of the side effects or characteristics. |

It appears this question comes from Turkey and if it does I understand why it is being asked.Turkish men can (not all) become insanely jealous and often serious inury and death are the result. Its part of the culture the way men are brought up to look at women as property with no choice of their own.Things are changing very, very slowly. |

I think anything is possible - surely if you are extremely jealous as in bunny boiler jealous isn't that multiple personality? Nice person and nasty person. People at work and maybe family see a loving, happy go lucky person and then when jealsouy kicks in one hell of a nasty person! |

No. Abnormal displays of jealousy are symptoms of such disorders...not causes.
Multiple personality is extremely rare and not an assumption to be taken lightly. So don't make jokes of that!
Jealousy is most common in the immature. This absence of maturity is most commonly caused by childhood deficiency leading to an adult inability to compensate for the loss.
Talking in silly terms does not lead to solving problems. |

I think the green eye can make you irrational yes. But cause a mental disorder no way. It has to be an underlying illness in the first place. Of course if it is there, then feelings of jealousy will bring the illness out. |
