It depends what you're after and how long you have. If it's just a weekend then try the usual city breaks: London, Paris, Barcelona, Prague. No matter your age you should be able to find something to do that matches your interests.
For someone after something a little more interesting try Madrid.
If you're away for a week and looking for a cheap holiday on a beach try southern Spain.
One week in winter: Ski in the alps
1 month: get a taste of europe's diversity. Drive from UK to Turkey through France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Turkey.
1month something different: Why not choose a town or city rent an appartment for a month and live like a local. I'd suggest Monte Carlo and get a job in a casino bar. |

Italy! If you're only going for a short time, like 2 weeks or less, go to Rome, Florence, and/or Venice. It's awesome. |

It all depends what kind of vacation you want to have. If you are going to Europe to show off after-wards with the Eiffel tower pictures, we all know were you have to go. If you want to enjoy sun then Spain, Greece and Portugal are good choices. If you want to be in the middle of international community and to see all important places in that sense then go to Belgium. But if you want to meet totally different culture, amazing, warm, welcoming people than welcome to the Balkans. Wherever you go there (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia) you will not make a mistake.
Anyhow, I hope you'll have a great time and bring with you cool pictures that you can share with us!
