Can we go on holiday to spain alone at 17?

All the travel agents, such as first choice & thomas cook, say minimum someone over 18. I do not want to lie and say we are both 18, because obviously they will see our passports. Is there any way we can book at 17, if so, with who?

Thank you

Just book your flights, hotels etc seperately, you can fly alone over 14yrs, and im not sure about individual hotels, but i dont think youd have any trouble, travel agents just dont personaally want to risk the comback if you get up to no good.

kinda young dont you think , have you ever seen that movie taken, i think you should watch it befor you go

id say no because if you lie and book when you go through customs and they check your passport there most likely stop you going which means you will lose all your money you have paid to go as you cant legally drink till your 18 so no hotel will allow you and the insurance you pay when you go abroad wont be valid so if anything did happen you would be stuffed any your parents would probably be in trouble also for allowing you to go

I think you can but please be very careful, 17 might sound very grown up but you are still naive and vulnerable.

um that's weird....i think you should be able to. When i was about 8 i flew back after a Caribbean holiday by myself so....also most hotels can take you in a room as long as your over 14. I would suggest booking a package deal over the internet? there are tons of web sites.

Hope you have fun!

Try booking online because the internet is not so vigilant or get an adult to book the trip for you.

yes you can, why not but there are places you can not enter like pubs specially with somking.

They might not check your ID if you are a tourist.

Best place in Spain is Costa del sol, visit www.marbellaeye.com and read about it.

You can, but I seriously wouldn't advise traveling to Spain at your age without adult supervision. Spain has a dark side and it can be a very dirty, nasty place for the unwary and that goes triple for young girls.
