Can you rank all the countries in the Balkans according to your personal feelings towards them?

Start with the most favorite and end with the least favorite. I'm mostly interested in Greeks' opinions, but other people from that area can answer too. The countries are: Greece, Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and former Yugoslavia.
Thanks.

I don't like "ranking" countries by any criteria, or putting them in certain groups. Each country is unique in its own way and has both good and bad sides. Unfortunately, of all these countries I have only visited Turkey (if you don't include ex-Yugoslavia), and I loved it. I'm sure there are nice people everywhere. But yes, if you look at it politically, I guess we have the best connection with Turkey and the most problems with Serbia (I'm from Bosnia).

To Keyser: Well, it does have a small part of its territory in the Balkans, doesn't it? :)

Xristina
No, that's childish.

the balkans, man i love that band...

wait, that's not a band! and who smoked all my grass!

Just a note: Keyser, if Turkey is not a Balkan country it is not a European country either, because he part that falls within Europe is in the Balkan peninsula.

Other than that, I refuse to compare countries that may be geographically close, but have a cultural and historical distance that only makes the attempt to "compare" them an act of division.

Well I am Greek, but I don't know what to rank them by. By my overall thoughts about them:
1.Greece-I am from there, so obviously I like it the best.
2.Serbia-Orthodox Christians, nice people, beautiful country, great tennis players.
3.Romania-Orthodox Christians, beautiful country, great athletes.
4.Bulgaria-Orthodox Christians, friendly, but occasionally mean people.
5.Croatia-Very kind people, but sometimes big stereotypers, great athletes.
6.Bosina-Herzegovina-Nice people, but just not my favorite, not really great in sports.
7.Montenegro-I have a good Montenegrin friend, but I don't like them, b/c they don't like Serbia.
8.Albania-Mean, dirty, sleezy people(in my opinion). They usually rob you in Greece.
9.FYRO'M'-Fake country, fake culture, fake people, mean and jealous people.
10.Turkey-Bad government, people are often mean to Greeks, and usually very selfish.

Vasiliki-Βασιλική
In start I didn't want to rank them but then i noticed the "personal feelings" towards them.

Judging of people I have met but also about general I ll rank them that way:

1.Serbia
2.Bulgaria
3.Slovenia
4.Turkey
5.Romania
6.Croatia
7.Bosnia & Herzegovina
8.Montenegro
9.Albania
10.Fyrom

I didn't mention Greece because is the country I am from.
If I did I would rank it no1 for my personal feelings

Keyser
turkey isnt a balkan country.

Well. I am Turkish.

I have visited Bulgaria and met nice people.

I have visited Serbia and met nice people.

I have visited Croatia and met nice people.

I have visited Slovenia and met nice people.

I have visited Hungary and met nice people.

I have visited Austria and met nice people.

You see, some of these countries are known with their negative attitude towards Turks, but still!

Sure, if you ask me I can find criticisms, too, but what's the use of criticism if it doesn't help the matter being criticized corrected?

I am looking forward to seeing Greece, Bosnia and Macedonia. Traveling is a great way to overcome prejudices.

Greetings to all humans!

Mr. Nobody
Are you trying to cause problems in the Balkans? You know how much all these countries "love" each other... lol

jm
No. Iike Greece, and Greek food! I enjoy Turkish coffee. Romania appeals to me. Albania and Romania have nice people, and I cannot spell Yugoslaviaa. OK!

I like them all except for Greece, and not that crazy about Bulgaria either.

Zmaj Od Bosne
I'm not Greek, I'm Bosnian and here is my list:

1.) Turkey
2.) Kosovo
3.) Albania
4.) Macedonia
5.) Slovenia
6.) Croatia
7.) Romania, Bulgaria and Greece
8.) Montenegro
9.) Serbia

P.S. I have never been to any of these countries (out of ex Yugoslavia), I made my list by political criteria.

I'll rank them in order of how Pure White they are

1. Romania - Its right next to another pure white country Ukraine and Romania doesnt border the darkest country on the list, Turkey. Romania does have alot of gypsies but you can usually tell the difference between them and the real native Romanians so it isnt enough to make Romania not take the gold, 1st place on this pure white list

2. Macedonia - It doesnt border dark Turkey which is a good thing however it does border Albania and Greece which both have their share of too many people with Middle Eastern looks due to being so close to Turkey. But its not as bad as being right next to Turkey so because of that the Silver on this pure white list goes to Macedonia as it takes 2nd place

3. Bulgaria - Its next to Turkey so it cant be #1 or #2 on this pure white list. But it is next to Romania and close to the pure white center of Europe so it takes the 3rd spot on this pure white list with a bronze

4. Albania - Even though it is a Muslim country, Albania is located completely in Europe and it does not border Turkey like Greece does which would cause too much darkening. Albania is also located more north than Greece and Albania is located right across and closer than Greece is to the southern tip of pure white country Italy. Albania just missed the bronze 3rd place on this list but it will have to settle for 4th and be thankful they didnt come in last or 2nd to last place.

5. Greece - Its right next to dark Middle Eastern country Turkey and with its islands Greece is closer to the Middle East than any other country on this list. Theres too many too dark and questionably European Greeks for Greece to be higher than #5 on this list however Greece isnt Turkey and is actually in Europe as opposed to Turkey which is in the Middle East so Greece doesnt come in last place on this pure white list and takes the 5th spot here

6. Turkey - Its in the Middle East and they all look Arabic. Turkey comes in at a distant 6th on this pure white list far away from any country in Europe
